The principle behind the Loc' Mobil-Home platform

Our platform specialises in renting mobile homes from private individuals to private individuals. It facilitates secure payments and enables holidaymakers to find reliable, accurate and representative listings of properties for rent.

By registering on our platform with your best advert, you will ensure excellent visibility for your advert and increase the number of rentals of your property.

To ensure this high level of quality and safety, owners must validate their identity and prove their ownership of the property by means of an insurance certificate. In addition, owners must fill in precise criteria about their property and provide real photos of their mobile home.

Reservation payments are handled by the leading secure payment platform: Stripe. This allows you to receive your rent, deducted from our 15% commission, directly by bank transfer via a quick registration.

Registering as an owner

To register on our site as an owner, go to the page : https://www.locmobilhome.com/inscription-proprietaire/

You will need :

  • A valid email address and mobile phone number
  • A valid identity document in your name (scanned)
  • Your property's insurance certificate (scanned) - This can be added later but will be required for publication of your advert.

Here's how it works:

  1. Enter your email address and click in the "Verification code" field.
  2. Check your mailbox for this verification code and enter it in the field. This step ensures that there are no errors in your email address.
  3. Enter your first and last name.
  4. Choose a seller name to display on your ads. This can be your real first and last name or a pseudonym.
  5. Enter your contact details (address and telephone number). These details will not be shown to tenants, only the platform will know them if we need to contact you.
  6. Add the file containing your proof of identity.
  7. Optionally, add the insurance certificate for your property (you will need to provide this for your ad to be validated).
  8. You must read and accept the Terms and Conditions and the contract between Loc' Mobil-Home and the Owners by ticking the appropriate boxes.
  9. Finally, choose a password that you will need to enter twice when you log on to your account in the future. Ideally, the password should : Be more than 8 characters long, not listed in the dictionary, and include upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. Using a random password and a password manager is ideal.
  10. Click the "Register" button to confirm.

Publish my ad properly

Your ad must be easy to find. To do this, you need to fill in all the fields corresponding to your ad, as visitors will search according to these criteria. This should take between 10 and 30 minutes.

  1. First of all, go to your owner space. In the left-hand pane, click on My Adsthen click on "Add".
  2. Give your advert a title.
  3. Enter a detailed description of your rental in the "Description" field. Remember to mention any details that are important to tenants.
  4. By clicking on the first image icon, enter the main image for your ad, the one that will be displayed in search results and when your ad is opened. Choose your best image here.
  5. Click on the second, smaller image icon to enter additional images, which will be displayed in image gallery mode on your advert.
  6. In "Categories", select the campsite where your mobile home is located. Using the down arrow at โฌ‡๏ธ, unfold the sub-categories and add the exact area of the campsite where your mobile home is located. Tick the two corresponding boxes. This will enable visitors to find your ad specifically in this area as well as in the general campsite.
  7. Further down, in the "Rental" menu, enter: the minimum and maximum number of nights that can be booked. Choose whether the order can be cancelled and the cancellation period before the booking date (we recommend 1 month or 35 days).
  8. In the "Features" section, you can enter the characteristics of your property. These are all used in searches, and are therefore very important if visitors are to find your property. Scroll down each attribute using the arrow at โฌ‡๏ธ and if the attribute is useful to you, tick "Active" and select the desired characteristics.
  9. In the "Availability" section, you can define the booking rules for your product. We recommend that you allow reservations from 5 days in the future and up to 12 months in the future. You can force the start and end dates of the rental via the corresponding box and the selection of days. For example, you can force arrival and departure on Saturdays only. You should also indicate here any dates when your property is not available for rental, to avoid any bookings that you cannot honour. For example, when the campsite is closed, you must add a range of dates that cannot be booked. If you already have a reservation for a given date, you should also indicate this.
  10. In the "Rates" section, you must indicate your base rate, which will be applied for any night for which there is no specific rate. You can also add variable rate rules for certain periods. Note that the rate is per night, so you should avoid having multiple night rules for the same day. In other words, if you make a rule from 1 to 14 August, your next rule must start on 15 August.
  11. Finally, click on "Submit for proofreading" at the bottom of the screen, or "Draft" to finalise later. If you choose "Draft", you will be able to re-open your ad later via the "My ads" section.
